HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS
Unless you live in WA there are no height restrictions other than those imposed by BBQ Rangehood Manufacturer’s Warranties. Western Australia has legislated that all BBQ Rangehoods must be a minimum of 1200mm above the cooking surface. There is no such lesislation in any other state or territory in Australia.
CEILING MOUNTED BBQ RANGEHOODS

EXHAUSTS OVER 3000M3/HR
The higher the exhaust from a BBQ Rangehood the larger the ducting has to be. An exhaust in excess of 2600m3/hr could not work with 150mm ducting it would cause the Rangehood to vibrate, the higher the exhaust rate the greater the vibration.
