The higher the exhaust from a BBQ Rangehood the larger the ducting has to be. An exhaust in excess of 2600m3/hr could not work with 150mm ducting it would cause the Rangehood to vibrate, the higher the exhaust rate the greater the vibration. Any rangehood with higher than 2600m3/hr requires 200mm ducting.Its’ to do with Air Pressure.
