Unless you live in WA there are no height restrictions other than those imposed by BBQ Rangehood Manufacturer’s Warranties.

Western Australia has legislated that all BBQ Rangehoods must be a minimum of 1200mm above the cooking surface.

There is no such lesislation in any other state or territory in Australia.
